“Kia Ora, my name’s Terry Vaipo and I am the owner of TRV Builders. I was born and raised in Rotorua and started my building career straight out of high school in 1997. My Wife Shannel and I have raised three children while I worked within the building industry, and in 2017 I decided to open my own company.

I take pride in all work that I complete for my clients as honesty and integrity have been my values since I began building. Owning my business has not only allowed for my children to strive for all opportunities in life, but it also opened the door for anyone who was willing, to join as an apprentice and have an accessible doorway to a stable job and income. Starting TRV Builders led to working alongside my son Ryubyn for the last 5 years, employing apprentices who are eager to learn a new trade, and passing along my knowledge to the younger generation.
